West Cape Howe, Shiraz, Western Australia, 2018
Inky, charred burnt ends meatiness with plenty of nutmeg brown and liquorice spice over chocolate and fresh blood plum. There’s a touch of black berries/cassis if you will, and blue fruits. Ultimately still smells cool. Smooth, easy and uncomplicated. A fine balance of blue/purple fruit over an interest of piquant pepper spice for a medium length finish. Well put together for the price.
