A slight change in fruit for this label, now solely sourced from Frankland River.
West Cape Howe, Tempranillo, Frankland River, 2018
An improvement over the 2017, there’s a concerted effort to be more varietal with dark cherry, lacquer, tobacco, leather, dark chocolate and good swathes of spice. Smooth on the palate, plush/dark fruit with sweet oak nudges, dark chocolate and spice with medium tail of fine drying tannins. A surprising cut of acidity gives food friendly credentials.
