The lighthearted Fat ‘n Skinny range from Hastwell & Lightfoot. This one a blend of estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Garnacha.

Hastwell & Lightfoot, Fat n’ Skinny, Forgotten Rosé, McLaren Vale, 2019

A slightly dull cerise hue. Overtly meaty reduction that takes a long time to blow off. Underneath that there’s rose petals, black currant pastille, jamon, green peppercorn. Tart, simple red fruits with little to no texture and an insipid, short finish and bitter acidity.
