A new release from giant Champagne House G.H. Mumm and part of the Mumm Terroir Collection. Made by Jamie Marfell who has been making sparkling wines in the region for nearly 2 decades. Aged on lees for three years, this is traditional blend of “45% Chardonnay, 43% Pinot Noir and 8% of Meunier.” Not sure on the maths there…

Pale straw/gold in the glass with fine persistent beading. Fine and creamy aromas with warm dinner roll, peachy stonefruit, white cherry, lemon zest and hint of developing meaty ham. Round and full with creamy mousse: Easy yellow citrus and stonefruit flavours with some honeyed/barley sugar richness and a fine, chalky dry finish.
