Normally 100% Clare Valley, this release has seen the inclusion of Limestone Coast fruit for this stalwart of the Taylors Estate range.
Taylors Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon, Clare Valley, Limestone Coast, 2019
Full and dark edged aromas: roast tomato sugo over blackberry and mulberry conserve, cassis/blackcurrant, grated dark chocolate, deep leather jacket folds and sweet cedary oak. Carries its weight well through a medium-full push of consistent dark fruit flavour ably supported by a loose-knit fleece of tannin. There’s a little slickness and polish to the fruit in mod-Oz style forgiven by consistent length of flavour. Somewhat of a bargain.
