Blue Pyrenees Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pyrenees, 2018
Almost rustic with charm of turned earth, moist tobacco, cedar, blackcurrant, touches of herby bay leaf, mint and lanolin. Could almost be Sunday roast in a glass. Medium bodied with intent. Fine, broken concrete slab of tannins with a blanketing of blackcurrant, bay and deep mint. A handsome Cabernet from the bush that proudly wears its boots. Good value.
