From Heirloom Vineyard’s “finest Pinot Noir Vineyard” in Kersbrook in the Adelaide Hills. The wine made by Elena Brooks along with Rosie Signer. Natural ferment with 50% whole bunches, basket press and matured in older French oak.

Medium garnet red. Cherry and strawberry fruits with suggestion of light chinotto, twiggy whole bunch spice and meaty/briny stock base notes to almost earthy root vegetable. Lightly etched frame with a centre of cherry garnished with light camp smoke and hints of bitter citrus. Staying earthy, there’s a delicate structure of light grippy tannin and a soft diminuendo of flavour to close. A pleasant and fine Pinot Noir
