A blend of Clare Valley 59% + McLaren Vale 41%. This release has a banner of gold medals (and even a platinum!) from overseas shows. Still, it’s an eye grabber on a shelf.

Warm and deep stewing dark cherry. blood plum, touches of licorice, rich beetroot chocolate cake and sweet mocha oak. Full of flavour and personality: plump dark berries and a hint of savoury Clare regional influence. The oak just being a little overt for the moment: dominating the close with a juxtaposition of sweet and char over the firm tannins.
