The Jaraman series sees blending from prime regions for the varieties. This time we get the best of South Australia’s Cabernet country with a blend of Clare Valley and Coonawarra. This release covered in gold and silver stickers from 2021 international wine shows.
Taylors, Jaraman, Cabernet Sauvignon, Clare Valley, Coonawarra, 2018
An excellent bright purple rim to the dark garnet heart hue. Dusty black olive, black currant, blackberry and bay leaf. All supported with fresh mint choc, just brewed black tea and easy, subtle creamy oak. A handsome palate. Just medium-full bodied with a pleasant dark flowing sheen, if a little pudgy round the edges. Tightens properly with firm, flat yet elegant tannins through to an intense, bright finish showing a very good balance and harmony. Ready to go now but will sit nicely for several years.
