Little Giant Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Part of the core range for Little Giant. Winemakers Corey Ryan and Jim Zerella helping out the Fourth Wave Wine team. The range celebrate South Australian regional heroes and the bottles are a stocky, stout package representative of its moniker: the southern hairy-nose wombat, South Australia’s fauna emblem.

Little Giant, Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, 2020

Cassia bark, cedar with plenty of cassis, eucalyptus and black cherry fruit. Earthier tones of leather and moss.  Fruit profile is modern and bright, while the tannins are quintessentially Coonawarra: dense, chewy and puckering. Sitting on the heftier end of medium bodied, it’s a little raw and roguish but offering the right framework for cellaring for several years.
