Grandis Wines, Unearthed, Garganega, Hunter Valley, 2021
A little cloudy sediment in the bottle. Medium gold hue with an apricot blush. Roast mixed nuts, barley sugar, yellow apple, lime skin, yellow stone fruit, bread dough and honey. Mid weight. Slightly waxy and viscous palate start, moving through chewy texture and finishing dry and briny, near to the point of being puckering. Electric acid shocks through the texture. Worthy to seek out for those that enjoy a point of difference.
