Grower Gatherer by Earthworks, Shiraz, Barossa, 2020

Bold Barossa with full expression of plum, dark raspberry and choc/mocha with plenty of spice: think anise and peppercorn. Palate is full, slick and ready to make friends: supple with easy grained tannin balanced by black olive and pepper savoury shakes. Barossa by the numbers but quality and balance of fruit is undeniable.
