The mainstay white grape of the Hunter Valley and it continues to be one of the wine gems of the world. This year’s release from Brokenwood won the Marshall-Flannery Trophy at the Hunter Valley Wine Show for Best Current Release Semillon.

Clear hue with bright green edges. Unmistakable young Hunter profile of intense lemon (fruit and pith) and lemongrass with a fresh, comfortable cotton shirt suggestion. Touches of pomme skin and even a little chalk. Upfront presence of fruit flavour giving weight and immediate enjoyment framing bracing acidity that carries very long through the palate.
