The quintessential Australian blend, (some would say mastered by Oxford Landing’s parent Yalumba with their Signature and Caley wines) and now Oxford Landing have rebranded with the label representing their home on the banks of the Murray River with the logo depicting the sun over the water. Winemaker is Matt Zadow.
Oxford Landing, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Riverland, 2021
Vibrant and fragrant with violets and pouch tobacco, some crushed ant, vanilla bean, cassis, cedar, 2B pencil, plum conserve and new leather. Medium full: the right amount of vibrant fruit with appropriate smoky, earthy balance supported by fine tannins. The finish is fast as expected but maintains integrity. A bit of a bargain.
RRP: $13
Alc: 13.5%
