While the Riesling from the Drumborg Vineyard gets plenty of glory, the Chardonnay is no second fiddle. Winemaker is Clare Dry.
Seppelt, Drumborg Vineyard, Chardonnay, Great Western, 2021
Lime and lees dominate the nose. Savoury and mealy with solid bones of texture and structure. Fruits of white stone fruit and lemon flesh and pith. Chalky and flinty through the finish. Has a lot going in and will be long lived.
