Cool climate winemaking here in Great Western. 65% whole bunch. Small open fermenters and then partial barrel fermentation . 9 months maturation French oak barrels (23% new). Winemaker is Clare Dry.

Light in crimson ruby hue. Varietal forest bramble, flinty reduction and plenty of earth and spice. Carries unexpected power and depth of fruit. The tannins are fine and delicate through a long finish.
