The Cellar Club pricing for this wine is quite ridiculous when you consider just how this label will age under the right conditions.
Tahbilk, Marsanne, Nagambie Lakes, 2022
Chalk and hints of musk, citrus skin and pith. A bit more air exposes a touch of young honeycomb, pear and cinnamon toast. Tight and restrained in youth (as expected) with a stony dryness clamping down in the finish over bright and fresh acidity. Moreish now for those that want their wines racy, else it’s going to happily hang on for a few years.
