From the central Victorian region of Nagambie Lakes. This is a sneak peek of the impending vintage courtesy of Mitchelton’s new Chief Winemaker Nat Cleghorn. Nat comes to Mitchelton just in time for the 2023 vintage after a couple of years helping right the Katnook Coonawarra ship for Accolade and spending many years crafting award winning wines for Yalumba. The wine named after the original property where Mitchelton now grow their grapes, having vines first planted in 1969.

Pale lemon hue. Plenty of aromatic blossom, lime juice, talc, ground ginger and hints of riper guava. Generous up front with billowy florals. Ripe with a puckering, dry finish. Quality and tasty, just lacking a little focus through the back palate for higher points.
