Serafino, Cabernet Sauvignon, McLaren Vale, 2021

Deep garnet. Warming cassis and cedar, blackberry with hints of cigar and ground brown spice. Cocoa to mocha with a dried chilli like nuance. Mod style: fruit full and showing brightness, balanced by savoury olive and chilli spectrum spice. Tannins a little chunky at first and then dissipate evenly, spreading across the palate with a silky finish. Good length with long flavour carry. Give it some air when first opening. My points may be a touch on the miserly side with time.
