Seeking to find that perfect balance between generosity, flavour, structure and elegance, with achievement. A nose of near perfectly judged oak with mealy savoury notes, creamy and yeasty lees work (but not too much), flinty strikes, citrus cut, white stone fruit skin (skin only, not flesh) and just a delicious hint of seeded bread crust. A remarkable Chardonnay: an achievement of a yeasty, mealy savoury base, sharpened with persistence and quality acid and drive, all tempered by the right amount of the best oak.
