Riverlife by Oxford Landing, Wake Making, Moscato, Riverland, 2022
Slight effervescence for bubbly fun. Plenty of lychee and Turkish Delight aromas with lemon drops, orange syrup, sherbet, toffee apple and white blossoms. Viscous in body with the residual sugars while the acid bites hard. Hyper aromatic and offers minerally saline to have some counter to the sweetness. I’d like to see the sugars dialed down and more of that briny note for interest. Serve with rice pudding.
