The Swan Valley, on Perth’s eastern outskirts is Western Australia’s oldest grape growing region. Stainless steel and concrete vats for the wild fermentation. On skins for 9 days then maturation in stainless steel tank, with a small amount matured for 5 months in old French puncheons.
Howard Park, Grenache, Swan Valley, 2022

Clear ruby cerise. Bright and aromatic raspberry and red fruit summer jelly cups, red licorice, fresh top soil, wheatgerm and hibiscus florals. Crunchy, vivid and ebullient. Concentrated red fruit dominance with a lean, structural frame. Supple, but not slurpy. Enjoyment in seeming simplicity with just the right amount of grip for tenacity in the dry finish.
