One of my favourite wines from the Hill-Smith Family Estates stable, and now they’ve gone and done the cellaring for you. Considering the current release is only $5 cheaper, I’m not sure how the accountants are happy…but you can be when you buy it.

Only just starting to deepen in colour, such is the capability of the screw cap closure to ensure a wines integrity. Developing nose of rich lime sorbet, a touch of moth balls/TDN, wax, soft baked biscuit and a little ‘yellow box’ honey over the still-punchy citrus and florals that this would have had in youthful abundance. The dry palate still complex and intense as the suggestions of development from the nose are shut down. Still with a long life ahead.
