Kalleske Clarry’s GSM, Barossa Valley, 2015
Mocha oak and plump red fruits. Bitter orange herbs and chocolate nut bar. There’s a bit of bacon fat and plenty of pepper too. Silky and slippery sweet luscious red fruits, before tightening to blackberry, prune, licorice and leather. A grinder full of black pepper and sandy tannins that cruise alongside for the ride. If this the house pour at your local, you live in the right neighbourhood.
