Taltarni Fumé Blanc 2016

Taltarni have sourced fruit from the Coal River Valley in Tasmania alongside their Pyrenees fruit.

Taltarni, Fumé Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Pyrenees, Coal River Valley, 2016

Pepper, spice, fresh earth, a touch of vegetal/varietal asparagus, passionfruit skin, rockmelon, grapefruit and plenty of (white) peach stonefruit. Gutsy, savoury, complex style with potent rocket/aragula like leafyness and peppery spice underscoring the melon, grapefruit, peach fruit lines and pinned into place with high acidity. The barrel work rounds out the edges. A very good example of the style.
