d’Arenberg The Feral Fox Pinot Noir 2017

15% whole bunch. No filtration or fining.

d’Arenberg, The Feral Fox, Pinot Noir, Adelaide Hills, 2017

Medium garnet with cerise edges. Good varietal nose with sour cherry and plush strawberry. Some herbal elements from the whole bunch give up fragrant spice. Richly bodied, dominated by the cherry fruit. Leafy forest floor dankness supported by loose knit tannins and lingering white pepper spice to a jangly finish. Will piece together in the medium term.
