Note, the winery has just rolled to the 2017, but there should be plenty of this still about.
West Cape Howe, Book Ends, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mount Barker, 2016
Deep garnet colour from the core to the rim. Blackberry and fruit cake spice with varietal pencil shavings, campfire smoke and cocoa. Approachable and supple, the black fruits are shiny and bright while a slightly broad tannin structure meanders a little before focusing for a medium length smoky finish.
