Auld Family Wines, Wilberforce, Caberbet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Barossa, 2015
Mocha and earthy, plum, choc, menthol and leaf, some black olive and old leather. The blend does it’s job with the plum and blackberry fruit supported well with leafy tobacco Cabernet hints and a sweet vanilla tinge. There’s some meaty development just starting to show while the tannin structure is still holding firm and slightly coarse.
