The Adelaide Hills are arguably Australia’s best Sauvignon Blanc and Longview are in a prime position to benefit the vintage’s warm days, but cool nights and a temperate breeze from the visible ocean waves.
Longview, Whippet, Sauvignon Blanc, Adelaide Hills, 2019
Pale lemon-green colour. Approachable nose, creamy light tropical fruit with fresh blanched green asparagus/bean and crushed leaf notes, fragrant lemon/lime and passionfruit seed. A littler fuller than previous years through the front and mid palate but the acidity rips through like a bench saw. Good presence and persistence through the tight, puckering finish.
RRP: $21
Alc: 13%
Rating: 17/20
