Ocean Eight,Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula, 2017
Medium garnet in colour with an almost transparent rim. Deep cherry and raspberry fruit with cherrywood sideboard, tea smoked meats, crunchy dry under growth, blood orange and a peppery stalky influence. Medium bodied. Textural, dry and savoury. Sappy dark cherry fruit with a stalky chew of tannin reined in with fine intensity that builds on the palate.
