West Cape Howe, Cabernet Sauvignon, Western Australia, 2018
Fresh and easy nose: sweet blackberry, leafy bramble and spearmint with good cigar ash complexity ably supported by sweet oak. Slick black fruit and a minty nuanced medium body. A solid, grainy tannin structure ensures this doesn’t fall into “red slurp juice” and stays varietal through its medium finish.
