Calabria, Alternato, Barossa Valley, 2017
Herbal lilt with raspberry and plum fruit, savoury fresh earth and leather with nutmeg and toasty oak. Svelte, savoury medium-full body with chewy tannins and a keen thrust of acidity. A quality and harmonious release: robust yet versatile enough to work with braised beef cheeks or an antipasto platter. .
