While Dirt Candy Wine is born in the Hunter Valley, here they’ve reached over the South Australian border to grab some Fiano due the devastating 2020 vintage around their home.
Dirt Candy Wine, The Outsider, Fiano, Riverland, 2020
White peach, almond husk/blossom, soft dough (“cookie dough”), leafy green cress, tropical yellow melon and grapefruit citrus. Some viscosity giving depth and richness under the same bittersweet citrus. A little grip and structure with good thrust and cut to the finish. Roast chicken or creamy pastas.
