Yelland & Papps, Second Take, Shiraz, Barossa Valley, 2019
A slightly turbid appearance as expected. Black cherry, soaked Damson plum, hints of blackberry, vanilla, sandalwood and with stalky smoky green peppercorn all with a slightly musky earthiness. The palate delivers an effortless, silky just full experience with supple, ripe tannins and the perfect amount of spice. The entire package is laid back, with a seamless and fluid sense of movement that demands consumption.
