The Domaines Paul Mas (made by Jean-Claude Mas) wines come from the Languedoc region in southwest France and are available Australia wide at Dan Murphy’s and BWS. Bottled under cork, this is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot. French oak maturation (80% American and 20% French).

Deep garnet and bright purple rim. Floral and fragrant nose: plenty of blackberry, cassis and violets with some lipstick waxiness, cherry cola, milk chocolate, blue plum, woody spice. Medium full palate with pleasant tea like tannin giving ample support to a swathe of dark fruits and hints of woody ginger spice. Simply structured and fruit focused yet offers comfortable drinking and fine value.
