Hardys Tintara, Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2017
Deep garnet in colour, there’s plenty of deep strawberry, cherry, plum, strap licorice and molasses Some rubber-eqsue notes (I find this often in McLaren Vale), light vanilla and chocolate ganache. Plush and svelte on the palate replete with dark fruits and what feels like chocolately oak indulgence. The tannins are integrating neatly and there’s still a little bright kick of acidity to the juicy finish.
RRP: $35
Alc: 14.2%
Rating: 17.25/20 (91/100)
