Nick Spencer Wines, Chardonnay, Tumbarumba, 2019
Spicy oak initial hit before depths of stone fruit, nutty nougat, fresh fig and a malt/mealy savoury line. Layered and complex. Savoury toasty elements with serious fruit. Grumbling personality, flinty, struck match gives a steely/stony edge. The underpinning acidity is sharp and focused before a little popcorn right at the end of a long finish. Quality gear.
