Technically this is a beer review, not wine. I have judged beer once though. The tricky part is that you have to swallow beer as part of the process (unlike wine).
Part of a trio of an “extremely limited release” from Brick Lane Brewing in Victoria.
Brick Lane Brewing, Birds Of a Feather, Lime & Pineapple Sour
Topaz/amber in hue. Fine lacing. Definitive aromas of lime, pineapple core and rings, warm orange syrup, vanilla paste with slight hoppy resin influence. Creamy front to mid palate with a high cut of acidity. Lingering flavour of sour, precise lime with only a hint of bitterness. Offers bracing summer time refreshment.
