Carillion Wines are part of the greater stable of the Davis Family Vineyards (including Pepper Tree and Briar Ridge) with vineyards in their home base of the Hunter Valley, Orange in the NSW Central West and South Australia’s old dirt of Wrattonbully. The wines are made by Andrew Ling. This flagship Shiraz is part of their “Origins” series and is sourced from the Tallavera Grove vineyard, planted in 1994 from cuttings taken from the lauded 100 year old Tallawanta vineyard.

Dusty nose with concentrated dark cherry, plum liqueur, fresh pulled root vegetable earthiness with fragrant peppery spice and cedary French oak. Medium framed and rangey in the Hunter mode. Fine tannin draws tight around lithe fruit with a clean finish.
