Cabernet Franc is oft used as blending component, but I have a soft spot when bottled as a straight variety.

Mid weight dusty, concentrated, purple cassis fruit with a hint of cola/portello and vanilla tipped cigarillo. Savoury elements of tar, fresh earth, floral violets, licorice and eucalyptus. Polished palate, thoroughly modern with good centration from front to mid palate. Dark jubey/juiciness follows with easy, tight tannin and a surprisingly bright finish. Perfect for BBQ lamb ribs.
