A single vineyard Eden Valley Syrah from the Drögemüller family’s dry-grown vineyard at the original Springton orchard. Matured in older French oak (2 to 5 year old hogsheads).

Seriously darkly fruited with big thrusts of peppercorn, crushed sage leaf, shaved dark chocolate, fresh mint leaf, meaty stock cube paste, nori sheet and licorice. Smooth and silky palate. Undeniably full bodied but without any corpulence. Tannins grip fuzzily through a great length and a sharp coda of acidity. Quality Syrah.
