The 2018 is still available from Angullong, so this review will hopefully get you ready for the next release. Note, bottle image is of the 2018, but naught has changed.
Angullong, Fossil Hill, Tempranillo, Orange, 2019
As per the 2018, there’s some initial meaty reduction over raspberry crystals, roast coffee bean snap, animale leather strap, fruit strap, mulberry juice and a soft grassy line. Bright and acquiescent, hitting the “Please Like Me” button firmly with grated dark chocolate wrapping those red fruits before gummy and cloying tannins. Shines and lives to cut through piquant salumi and tapas.
RRP: $28
Alc: 14.5%
Rating: 17.75/20 (91/100)
