The vintage release from Small Acres Cyder in the cool climate Orange region of New South Wales. This is a medium dry still Cider, which gives a nod to the style of ciders made in the east counties of England.
Small Acres Cyder, Norfolk Still, Orange, 2020
Very pale lemon in hue. Nose of buttery, warm apple flesh counterpointed by bright red apple skin, apple blossom, honeysuckle and nutmeg. Smooth and silky palate with a little richness from the residual sugars that take the edge of the crisp acidity. Retains a fine length of flavour through the finish. A distinct alternative to an off-dry Riesling.
