Heirloom Wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, 2019
Sweaty, dark blackberry fruit with signature, regional eucalypt and mint leafiness. Black olive savoury, fallen cigar ash and campfire remnants supported with vanilla bean paste oak. Medium weight in the modern mode with a good heart of bright ripe blackberry fruit offset with that earthy/ashen balance. Tannins are elegant, fine and tight and deserve a decent cut of meat. Sorry Vegans.
