West Cape Howe, Book Ends, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mount Barker, 2018
Blackberry preserve, blackcurrant with crushed mint leaf, grated dark choc, gum nut, bay leaf, violet blossom, cedar oak and a little cigar ash. Modern styling with a fruit forward approach: polished, bright and lifted. Mesh tannins abound with no spill over the ramrod straight lines. Manages the alcohol well with a fresh minty, varietal finish.
