Sourced from the Langton vineyard in Mt Barker, with some of the earliest plantings in the region: around 40 years old. 18 months maturation in 20% new French oak barrique the remainder in first and second year barrels.
West Cape Howe, Two Steps, Shiraz, Mount Barker, 2018
Highly perfumed. Deep blood plum, peppery spice, syrupy raspberry, milky choc and smoky, chary oak. Elegance and silky flow through the full body. Tightly knit yet drying tannins to balance a sharp slice of acidity. Lingering spice and char. Great value.
