This label from the Fourth Wave Wine team and made with usual suspect collaborator Corey Ryan. Label reminds me of the Mothman. Fruit from old Barossa vines, made with no added sulphites and wild yeast fermentation. Bottled unfiltered and unfined. Vegan friendly. DIAM cork (and a wax seal).
Wild Folk, Shiraz, Barossa, 2021
Opaque garnet and bright rim. No oak here, stainless steel fermentation to keep things bright and fresh. Sweaty leather, dark berry fruit and blood plum, ferrous spine and soft clove and white pepper spice. Silky, supple and satiny. Choco plum and licorice with hyper fine tannins. Well structured with a juicy finish. Points for juicy drinkability.
