Tate Franklin is 2nd generation Margaret River and started this label in 2007. Director Of Winemaking Frederique Perrin joined the crew after holding the position of Technical Director at Cape Mentelle.

Medium straw gold in hue. There’s a lot of Chardonnay here for the coin. Some old school buttery ghee, preserved lemon, grapefruit skin, malt biscuit, barley sugar and sweet cashew nut. Fine balance of richness with finesse, medium body that has obvious structure and depth from oak and lees work but maintains life and brightness. Savoury malt and umami with a suggestion of sweet barley sugar. A little thin through the back end, but if you like ’em round and lively, here’s a well priced option.
