After Five Wine Co., Shiraz, Barossa Valley, 2019

Attractive and fruit sweet nose with plenty of spice. Raspberry red fruit over small red plum flesh. Garam, clove flecked spice with licorice, fresh baked dinner roll and just charry oak. Medium full, with “wall of sound” Barossa fruit persistence washing through to square, yet ripe, sheets of tannin. Long drive through the finish. Elegant now, but a structure fine for ageing.
