After Five Wine Co., Aglianico, Barossa Valley, 2019
Bruise purple with as bright rim. Earthy, cinder block base with dark jubey herbal-tinged fruit. Singed orange zest, boysenberry ice cream, rose heart, fragile chocolate and ground spices. Medium bodied, urgent texture. Dry, crisp and pervasive tannins with refreshing acidity. Calling out for partnering coffee rubbed steak.
